Dear Folks,

Our skit went off without a hitch, well, hardly. At first, not due to us though, the volume wasn’t loud enough, and at the end the fellow tending the phonograph let the closing theme blare a little too much. Excluding these faults, we were told it sounded very professional. I was the announcer-commentator etc. We started rehearsing tonight for another skit for broadcasting on Tuesday.

Got a letter from Don. He has 6 more weeks training to go. He’s firing a lot of guns and doesn’t seem to be faring badly at all.

We’re having a foot-locker inspection tonite, which kills going to the early show. Maybe we’ll go to the late one. It’s Fred MacMurray in “Murder He Says” which seems to be pretty funny.

I guess that’s all,

Love, Bru
